Lied to about sevice/phone and your customer service isn't worth mentioning!!


BEFORE I began my cell phone service through Metropcs , I REPEATEDLY asked the in-store agent to check my zip code AND my physical address to be CERTAIN that my service would work in my area. I was REPEATEDLY assured that yes, my service would work JUST FINE. Within the short time that I had Metro pcs, I call customer service 6 TIMES because the phone DIDN'T WORK!!! I finally took the phone to my local Metropcs and was informed that NO, the 4G phone will NOT work in my area and I was also told while in the store that UNFORTUNATELY Metropcs has LIARS that work for them. Because my phone DIDN'T work (like I was REPEATLY TOLD IT WOULD) I proceeded to cancel my service through them on August 30th because I REFUSE to pay each month for a "PAPERWEIGHT." I have since sold the phone and now have been contacted by the new owner who is trying to get the phone to work. The new owner informed me that Metropcs needed ME to call them back so they could provide ME with the unlock code so the new owner can use the phone. NOW, I have been informed by a rep from Metropcs customer care that BECAUSE I didn't have the service for 90 days, he can't provide me with the unlock code!! He was kind enough to direct me to a website where I could BUY the code for my old phone (which, there isn't a chance that's going to happen)!! I sent 2 emails to the President of Metropcs informing him of the situation and haven't heard back from him (or Metropcs) in any way, shape or form!! I want my original $200.00 back!! Metropcs can be ASSURED THAT I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENING THEM IN ANYWAY TO ANY PERSON!!
